Enter Mom with some plants. Dad dug the trench, barely visible in the background, for the plumbing to the waterfall. The pump house, behind the pond in this photo, is in the shed attached to the workshop. The pump had to be insulated with sound deadening material in order to enjoy the sound of the water trickling down the rocky surface into the pool.
